The title bears a lot in common with its immediate predecessor AC Odyssey, given that it doubles down on Assassin's Creed's still-divisive RPG elements. Set in 9th Century England during the Viking Age, Assassin's Creed Valhalla allows players to assume the role of Eivor, a Viking warrior who leaves their home in Norway with a crew of fellow villagers looking to make a new life in what will one day become the United Kingdom.
